The service

I’m Sorry I Lied lets you turn a childhood photo into a two-slide glow-up carousel. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with TikTok. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Your photos

• Only upload photos of yourself or of people who have agreed to appear.
• You must have the right to upload the photo.
• You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to process them, including sending them to the AI image service we use, only to make the stills you ask for.
• Do not upload photos of strangers, celebrities, public figures or other people's children.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to impersonate a real person, to deceive or harass anyone, to make sexual, hateful or violent content, or to break the law. We may refuse or remove any look and close accounts that do.

AI labelling

Looks made here are AI generated. When you share one, label it as AI generated.

Credits and payment

• Looks are paid for with credits that you buy in packs. The credit cost is shown before you generate.
• Credits do not expire and have no cash value.
• If a look fails to generate, the credits for it are returned automatically.
• Credit packs are non-refundable once bought, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. If something went wrong that we caused, write to us.

Using your stills

You may download your stills and use them for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as posting a photo carousel on social media. For commercial use, write to us first.

Availability

We try to keep the site running but do not promise it will always be available or that every look will turn out as you hoped. Results depend on the photos you provide.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
